Dietitians can recommend the best diet for:

• Heart health including cholesterol and blood pressure
• Weight management
• Nutrient deficiencies including iron and calcium
• Infant and child nutrition
• Vegetarian diets
• Bowel disorders
• Undesirable weight loss
• General healthy eating
Small Groups
Dietitians run small group classes for approximately 6-8 people
• Men’s Cooking Classes:
For men interested in basic cooking skills.
• Supermarket tours:
Participants will learn how to read food labels to make healthy food choices.
Community Projects
The Dietitians also work on large programs promoting healthy eating in the community, especially working to promote fruit and vegetable consumption by children.

To make an appointment to see a dietitian, please call our Intake Worker on 8398 4169. A doctor’s referral is not required.
There is a small fee payable for service. If this payment is difficulty, please discuss this with your dietitian.
