The physiotherapists at the Western Region Health Centre provide appointments to help people manage:
• Pain
• Stiffness
• Weakness
• Falls and balance
• Walking problems
• Chronic illness
• Injury
• Low fitness
Groups
Physiotherapy treatment may include:
• Exercise
• Education & advice
• Hands on treatment
• Assessment and prescription of walking aids
• Group exercise programs
• Hydrotherapy
• Referral to other health professionals
Exercise groups are run to assist
people with:
• General fitness and fun
• Chronic pain
• Heart and lung problems
• Diabetes
• Poor balance and weakness
• Hydrotherapy
This may include a special program for your individual health needs.

Physiotherapy is available Monday to Friday both from the Footscray and Braybrook sites of the Western Region Health Centre.
Home visits are available if necessary.
There is a small fee payable for health care card holders and low income earners. If this payment is difficult, please discuss this with your physiotherapist.

BUS ROUTES: From Footscray take Bus 220 along Ashley St until Churchill Ave, then catch Bus 408 from Highpoint which runs up Churchill Ave. From Sunshine take Bus 215 or 220 along Ballarat Rd to Vine St and walk up to Churchill Ave (approx 600m).
